Strategic Landscaping Alliance Following Yongsan Maintenance Depot Project
"We Will Present Premium Landscaping That Surpasses One Bailey"
HDC Hyundai Development Company, which is bidding for the reconstruction project of Bangbae Shinsamho in Seocho-gu, Seoul, is partnering with Samsung C&T Resort Division to introduce a differentiated premium landscaping design.

On July 16, HDC Hyundai Development Company announced, "Through a strategic alliance with Samsung C&T Resort Division, which possesses world-class landscaping expertise, we plan to present premium landscaping that surpasses One Bailey."
This collaboration goes beyond simple landscaping design and aims to realize a high-end community strategy. Samsung C&T Resort Division has led Korea's landscaping industry through various projects, including the nation's largest theme park, Everland in Yongin, as well as large-scale apartment complexes, luxury resorts, and parks. Following the Yongsan Maintenance Depot project, HDC Hyundai Development Company and Samsung C&T Resort Division will introduce a top-tier landscaping community space at Bangbae Shinsamho.
The pilotis, measuring approximately 7.5 to 10 meters, will be built into the main buildings of Bangbae Shinsamho, providing both an open atmosphere within the complex and privacy for residents. The corridor-style promenade, stretching a total of 325 meters across the site, will be more than just a passageway; it will be realized as a "living gallery" where landscaping, art, and architecture are combined.

The themed plazas?'Nature Square,' 'Art Square,' and 'Community Square'?are designed as resident rest areas that support a variety of community activities. At the heart of the resident community, 'Lumiere Garden,' featuring landscaping on par with top-class hotels, will be located.
The general meeting to select the construction company for Bangbae Shinsamho is scheduled for July 26. HDC Hyundai Development Company has named the complex 'THE SQUARE 270.'
A representative from HDC Hyundai Development Company stated, "We have begun a strategic collaboration with Samsung C&T Resort Division to specialize in landscaping, which is a key factor in determining the future value of the complex after completion. Please look forward to seeing how our strategy, which aims to enhance the aesthetic quality, residents' quality of life, and the value and identity of the complex through landscaping alone, will produce real results."
Bangbae Shinsamho Apartment was completed in 1981 and consists of six buildings with a total of 481 units. It was first designated as a redevelopment zone in 2016 and received approval to establish a cooperative in 2019. After reconstruction, it will be transformed into a complex with five basement levels and 41 above-ground floors, totaling 920 units. Nearby schools include Seorae Elementary School, Bangbae Middle School, and Seomun Girls' Middle and High School. HDC Hyundai Development Company has been designated as the preferred negotiation partner for the Bangbae Shinsamho reconstruction project. The cooperative will hold the construction company selection general meeting on July 26.
