Another horse, just a few meters away, slipped and fell on the road. The cavalryman also fell to the ground, but fortunately there were no serious injuries, and both rejoined the parade.

These incidents occurred right in front of the dignitaries' stand, where French President Emmanuel Macron and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who was invited as the guest of honor, were present. These scenes were broadcast live on national television.

Earlier, during the cadets' march, one officer candidate was seen with blood flowing from his ear. The candidate appeared to have been cut on the ear by a sword and was bleeding, but continued marching until the end.

France showcased its military strength with the traditional parade to mark Bastille Day. A total of 7,000 personnel participated in the parade, including French troops, the guest of honor Indonesian military, and a joint unit from Belgium and Luxembourg. In addition, more than 100 aircraft, 250 military vehicles, and 200 horses were mobilized for the parade.
