Korea Federation of SMEs Holds "Domestic Travel Support Event" for Yellow Umbrella Members

This event, which aims to boost domestic consumption and revitalize local economies, will run until December 31, 2025, and is divided into two parts: ▲Domestic travel support for small businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs, and ▲A domestic travel frequency (travel review) event in partnership with the Yellow Umbrella.

First, through the domestic travel support for small businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs, up to 5,000 people during the summer peak season (July to August) and up to 15,000 people during the off-season (September to December), for a total of up to 20,000 participants, will be able to use resort facilities at 10 partner resort companies at a member price with up to a 50% discount through the Yellow Umbrella. Some coupons for using additional facilities will also be provided.

Next, the domestic travel frequency (travel review) event is for Yellow Umbrella members who travel domestically using partner resorts. Participants who submit a total of five photos, including four photos of visits to local small business shops (such as restaurants and cafes) and one photo of their accommodation, will be eligible for a monthly drawing. Each month, 100 winners will be selected to receive a 100,000 won Small Business Gift Certificate via mobile.

In addition, the Yellow Umbrella offers members a range of benefits, including free management consulting in legal, tax, and labor matters; support for various training programs to strengthen members' capabilities; and free group accident insurance coverage for two years after joining.

Meanwhile, small businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs who wish to receive the events and various benefits provided by the Yellow Umbrella can join through a variety of channels, including major bank branches, mobile applications (Shinhan, Woori, Hana, Toss Bank, Daegu Bank), online registration via the Yellow Umbrella website, or by visiting a mutual aid consultant. In particular, to promote domestic consumption, all those who join the Yellow Umbrella online from July to December 31, 2025, will receive a 50,000 won Small Business Gift Certificate via mobile as part of a special promotion.

Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, "We have been working to expand welfare benefits for the many small businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs who have joined the Yellow Umbrella mutual aid program, and I hope that vacation support for small businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs will greatly contribute to revitalizing domestic travel and local economies." He added, "We will continue to strive to enhance the welfare of small businesses and self-employed entrepreneurs through a variety of services for our members."
