The degree conferment ceremony was attended by President Park Jungwoon, Graduate School Dean Lee Kangwoong, and executives and employees of Misto Holdings.

Chairman Yoon is known as a self-made entrepreneur and a leading figure in the so-called 'salaryman success story.' After founding FILA Korea in 1991, he acquired the headquarters of FILA in Italy in 2007. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board at both Misto Holdings and Acushnet Holdings.

He has also demonstrated a deep affection for his alma mater. He has donated to the construction fund for the Smart Library, as well as contributed various development and scholarship funds.

The university stated, "The degree was awarded in recognition of his global business leadership, his role in leading the advancement and internationalization of Korean industry, and his realization of public value through social contributions."

Meanwhile, Chairman Yoon became the first figure from the global fashion industry to receive the 'Van Fleet Award' from The Korea Society, a U.S. nonprofit organization, in 2024.
