YG Entertainment announced on July 14 that BLACKPINK kicked off their North American tour with a sold-out concert in Los Angeles and dominated global charts with their new song "JUMP."


On July 12 (local time), BLACKPINK held the 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN LOS ANGELES' at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA. Including the following day's concert on July 13, they set a new record as the first girl group in the world to sell out two consecutive shows at this venue, attracting a total audience of approximately 100,000 people.


Starting with this concert, which marks the beginning of their North American tour, BLACKPINK will continue with a total of 31 shows in 16 cities, including major North American cities such as Chicago, Toronto, and New York, as well as Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.


This tour is BLACKPINK's first reunion with North American fans in about two years and eight months. The group filled the venue with live performances based on band sounds and a parade of hit songs. Each member showcased her unique charm during solo stages.


Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's new song "JUMP," released on July 11, surpassed 13.09 million streams in just two days, topping the Spotify Daily Top Songs Global chart. With this achievement, BLACKPINK became the first K-pop group to have more than three songs, including "Pink Venom" and "Shut Down," reach number one on this chart.


On the YouTube chart, the group ranked number one on the Global Daily Popular Music Videos in countries such as South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. On the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart, they reached number one in 60 regions.
