Contributing to the Reduction of Industrial Accidents
as a Key Affiliate of BN Group, Bienstilla
On July 14, BN Group, a local company based in Busan, announced that Seogyo Seo, Director of its major affiliate Bienstilla, received a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor at the '2025 Industrial Safety and Health Month Busan Regional Ceremony' held at BEXCO.
This event was organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to raise awareness of industrial safety and health in the local community and to promote the spread of a safety culture.
Seogyo Seo was recognized for his contributions to reducing industrial accidents in the steel manufacturing sector by improving workplace environments and establishing a safety culture over his 28-year career in industrial safety.
In particular, he led the enhancement of on-site autonomous safety management capabilities through several initiatives: improving working environments by participating in the 2024 Safety Service Design Project; introducing the visualization and standardization of safety signs; and operating worker-participatory safety challenges.
Seo stated, "This award is thanks to all the executives and employees who have worked hard behind the scenes," adding, "I will continue to do my best to create industrial sites where everyone can work with peace of mind, in line with BN Group's ESG management."
Bienstilla is a core affiliate of BN Group, manufacturing surface-treated steel sheets for ships and home appliances. Recently, the company has introduced a Smart MES, an integrated production management system tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises, and is pushing forward with the establishment of an intelligent production system, thereby accelerating manufacturing innovation and data-driven operations.
