Toss Launches Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon Information Service

Pre-application Begins on the 14th
Notifications on Payment Amounts Start from the 19th
Targeted Alerts by Eligibility Begin on the 21st

Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, announced on July 14 that it will begin accepting pre-applications for the "Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon" information service.

Toss Launches Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon Information Service

The purpose of the service is to help users efficiently manage and easily access information related to the consumption coupon, such as the amount provided, application schedule, and usage period, all at a glance.

As part of the "Gukminbiseo" (National Secretary) service operated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Toss will provide users with consumption coupon guidance as a public-private partnership operator.

For users who apply for the service, Toss plans to provide advance notifications regarding the payment amount, application method, and usage period for two days starting July 19.

During the application period, which begins on July 21, Toss will send notifications based on a five-day rotation system according to users' birth years, helping ensure a smooth application process for the consumption coupon.

For example, on July 21, users whose birth years end in 1 or 6 will receive notifications. The following day, notifications will be sent to users whose birth years end in 2 or 7. Starting July 26, notifications will be sent to all users who missed their designated application dates based on birth year.

Once the application period begins, users can select the card company from which they wish to receive the consumption coupon and proceed to the respective application page. Toss will also send additional reminders before the usage period expires to ensure users do not miss out on using their coupons.

The service can be accessed by searching for "Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon" in the "All" tab at the bottom of the Toss application, or by selecting "Public Notification" in the "Civil Complaints" menu within all services.

A Toss representative stated, "As a service provider linked to the Gukminbiseo, Toss's role is to deliver public information in a more accessible and familiar way," adding, "We will continue to strive to ensure that various public information closely related to daily life can be easily accessed through Toss."

Since being selected as a public-private partnership operator for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Gukminbiseo in March 2021, Toss has been providing the "My Public Notification" service within the Toss app. In August of the same year, Toss operated the "COVID-19 National Relief Fund Notification" service, helping citizens conveniently access administrative services.
