More than 100 people, including practitioners and officials from intermediary support organizations in 15 cities and counties of Chungnam Province, attended the event. The workshop was organized to enhance understanding of changing rural policies and to strengthen practical response capabilities.

The workshop focused on strategies for responding to the designation of basic support institutions following the enforcement of the "Act on Restructuring and Regeneration Support of Rural Areas."

During the workshop, there were special lectures such as "Changes in Rural Policy and the Restructuring Act" by Han Icheol, a research fellow at the Korea Rural Economic Institute, and "Current Issues of Intermediary Support Organizations" by Koo Jain, director of the Space and People Research Institute. There was also time for exchanges between city and county officials and practitioners.

In addition, presentations on the operational status and SWOT analysis of intermediary support organizations by city and county, a lecture on "Operational Plans for Basic Support Institutions" by Center Director Seo Jeongmin, and open discussions were held to discuss practical operation and joint response strategies.

At Gurye Nature Dream Park, participants deepened their understanding of the field through site visits and a lecture on the operational case of Gurye iCOOP Consumer Cooperative.

The director of the Rural Revitalization Center at the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency said, "This workshop served as an opportunity to strengthen the foundation for cooperation among intermediary support organizations and to practically prepare for the transition to basic support institutions. We will continue communication and expert training to establish a Chungnam-style basic support institution model."
