Yuanta Securities is launching a non-face-to-face stock account opening service on Toss, a leading mobile financial platform in South Korea.
Toss is a lifestyle financial platform with a cumulative user base of 29 million. By selecting Yuanta Securities in the 'Open Account' menu within the Toss app, users can quickly and conveniently open a non-face-to-face account after completing identity verification and entering basic information.
Yuanta Securities expects this integration with the Toss platform to have a positive effect on expanding its customer base, including attracting new investors from the MZ generation. In addition, since Yuanta Securities will be continuously displayed in the account opening menu within the Toss app, the company anticipates that its brand awareness will naturally increase.
To commemorate the launch of this service, Yuanta Securities is holding an event until December 31 of this year. New customers who open a Yuanta Securities stock account through the Toss app will receive both 10,000 won worth of Toss Points, which can be used for various purposes within the Toss app, and a 10,000 won stock coupon that can be used at Yuanta Securities.
