Providing Country-Specific Customized Features
Hyundai Card announced on the 14th that it has launched its overseas travel-focused service, 'Hyundai Card Overseas Mode.'
The key feature of Overseas Mode is that it is designed to provide customized functions in 206 countries, based on the time zone information of the member's mobile device.
The usage method is simple. When a Hyundai Card member logs into the Hyundai Card application in the country they are visiting and clicks on Overseas Mode, the name of the country and an image symbolizing that country appear as the background, and Overseas Mode is activated.
On the Overseas Mode home screen, users can immediately access the most useful travel information, such as weather, exchange rates, and a currency converter.
Country-specific partnership services can also be checked at a glance. In the United States, benefits include free admission to the Museum of Modern Art in New York and discounts at the Olomana Golf Club in Hawaii. In Japan, services are available at Tsutaya Bookstore and Don Quijote, among other Japanese partners. In Taiwan, Line Pay payment is supported. In France, discounts are available at Monge Pharmacy.
An overseas usage checklist is also provided to inform users about global benefits available with their cards. Members can easily check various overseas benefits offered not only by Hyundai Card but also by international brands such as Visa and American Express.
Essential features are made directly accessible in Overseas Mode. Services such as Lock & Limit, blocking overseas payments in Korean won, and reporting card theft or loss are all grouped together, allowing for quick action in emergency situations.
In particular, the concierge service 'Travel Desk,' which provides support via KakaoTalk or phone when local assistance is needed, is prominently displayed.
A Hyundai Card representative stated, "The Overseas Mode service will become an essential item for overseas travel and will further enrich the experience of Hyundai Card members."
