KleanNara Signs $4.4 Million Export Deal in U.S., Accelerates North American Expansion

This export deal is the first tangible result of CEO Choi Hyunsoo's efforts to make this year the inaugural year for KleanNara's global market strategy. The company emphasized the significance of securing a new growth base in North America, especially as the domestic market faces oversupply and intensified price competition.

In the United States, there is growing demand for premium hygiene products and ongoing instability in distribution networks, while trust in Korean household goods continues to rise. KleanNara aims to capitalize on these market changes by designating the U.S. as a key export hub for its global business strategy and accelerating its comprehensive market expansion there.

In February, KleanNara introduced its private brand (PB) toilet paper in the Los Angeles area, the largest city on the U.S. West Coast. Following positive feedback from local consumers, the company launched PB wet wipes in June. Building on these early successes and customer responses in the West, KleanNara signed a large-scale contract in July to expand its supply nationwide, thereby establishing a robust distribution base throughout the United States. This marks a shift from one-off deliveries to the successful establishment of a stable and long-term supply chain.

This contract is particularly noteworthy as it demonstrates that KleanNara's global distribution strategy is yielding concrete business results, beyond simply expanding exports. Moving forward, KleanNara plans to broaden its product lineup in the U.S. to include not only toilet paper and wet wipes, but also feminine hygiene products, baby diapers, and adult diapers, thereby addressing the diverse needs of local consumers.

A KleanNara representative stated, "This U.S. export contract is a symbolic result that demonstrates the quality and brand trust of Korean premium household products in the global market," adding, "We will continue to strengthen KleanNara's global presence by diversifying distribution channels and expanding our product portfolio in the U.S. and other major export markets."

Meanwhile, KleanNara is also aggressively expanding its distribution strategy in Southeast Asia. At the end of last year, the company launched four types of Dearskin AirEmbo products in approximately 260 Guardian stores, Malaysia's leading health and beauty retailer. In June of this year, KleanNara introduced Soonsuhanmyeon sanitary pads on Shopee, Southeast Asia's largest e-commerce platform. In July, the company expanded its presence in the Asian market by placing Dearskin sanitary pads in Mannings, a major Hong Kong drugstore.
