Saudi Government Agencies Participate to Reflect Local Demand
Up to 2 Million Dollar Investment Under Review... Real Business Matching Promoted

The Venture Business Association announced on July 14 that, together with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it will promote the "2025 Middle East Expansion Support Program for SMEs and Startups."

This support program will be held locally in Dubai, UAE, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from September 25 to October 2. A total of 27 companies will be selected in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), bio and healthcare, tourism and entertainment, and smart city and architecture, and will be provided with customized programs to support their entry into the local market.

The main programs include business meetups with local government agencies and global companies in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, investment promotion briefings, and networking events. In addition, pre-programs will be operated to strengthen participants' capabilities for entering the Middle East market.

In particular, a notable feature is that representatives from Saudi government agencies will directly participate in the company selection process, providing practical export and investment opportunities that reflect local demand. The program is differentiated from existing government support programs in that it is designed not as a simple delegation, but as a structure that enables real business matching with local government entities.

Saudi Arabia's AI governing body "HUMAIN" is considering business outsourcing or equity investment of up to 2 million dollars, and the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Investment, government agencies related to tourism and construction, as well as private venture capital (VC) firms, are also expected to participate as partner organizations.

Applications for participation can be submitted online through the SME Overseas Exhibition Portal.
