Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on the 14th that it will launch the "Our Neighborhood Baemin Recipe" paired beverage in collaboration with the National Cafe Owners Cooperative, the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, and Cellplus to strengthen the competitiveness of cafe small business owners and alleviate their burdens.

This initiative was established as Baemin participated in the "Public-Private Joint Strategic Win-Win Cooperation Project (Enhancing the Competitiveness of Small Businesses)" led by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, which aims to bolster the self-sufficiency of small and micro-businesses. With the arrival of the summer peak season, Baemin, government agencies, industry associations, and SMEs have joined forces to develop high-quality beverage ingredients frequently used by cafe operators, and to supply them at lower prices compared to existing products. Their cooperation extends from product development to distribution and promotion.

Baemin will promote online sales expansion of the paired beverages by operating a special sales event for small business owners on its own food material platform, Baemin Sanghoe. Cellplus, a professional company specializing in the production of cafe ingredients such as beverage powders and syrups, participated in product development, while the National Cafe Owners Cooperative supports product promotion and the listing of products on the cooperative's member shopping mall.

The newly launched Our Neighborhood Baemin Recipe paired beverages are essential beverage powder products for cafes. There are seven types: Real Vanilla Bean, Classic Choco, Jeju First Harvest Matcha, Yogurt, Fresh Yogurt, Coffee Mix, and Honey Hovenia. Each product is sold at a price ranging from 6,900 to 9,900 won, which is up to 38% lower than existing products.

Kim Junghyun, Head of Value Management at Woowa Brothers, said, "We expect this to be a model case that will provide practical help to cafe owners and bring together small and medium-sized ingredient manufacturers, local producers, and related associations," adding, "We will continue to strengthen network-based win-win projects that connect local communities, associations, and companies."
