Gwangju Buk-gu Prepares for "Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon" Applications

Gwangju Buk-gu is preparing to distribute "Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons" by organizing a dedicated task force (TF) to handle applications.

According to Buk-gu, the TF consists of nine departments, including the Livelihood Economy Division, and 27 local districts, with the deputy district mayor serving as the head of the task force.

In line with the application start date of July 21, application counters will be set up at all district administrative welfare centers, and temporary personnel will be deployed on site. During the initial application period, public officials and volunteers will be assigned to each district to reduce congestion. A central operations office will be established on the second floor of the Hyojuk Public Parking Lot to handle objections and civil complaints. On July 15, training sessions will be held for district heads and team leaders, and a dedicated call center will operate throughout the application period.

A "visiting application service" has also been prepared for residents with limited mobility. If requested by phone, a public official will visit to assist with the application and, once the coupons are ready, will deliver them in person. Promotional efforts will also be carried out through local community leaders and SNS channels.

Buk-gu will monitor application progress regularly and encourage those who have not applied by contacting them by phone or visiting in person. District Mayor Moon In stated, "We will do our best to ensure that all residents receive the coupons."
