President Lee Jae Myung held a luncheon meeting with veteran journalists Cho Gap Je and Jeong Gyu Jae on the 11th.

Lee Kyu Yeon, Chief of Public Relations at the Presidential Office, explained during a briefing that "Today, President Lee met with veteran journalists Cho Gap Je and Jeong Gyu Jae," adding, "They exchanged warm words in a free and open atmosphere on a variety of topics." According to Chief Lee, President Lee stated, "I will take the lead in national unity to become the president for all," and requested the participation and wisdom of the two journalists.

According to Chief Lee, CEO Cho handed President Lee a note with the phrase, "It is good to work brightly; if faded by the sun, it becomes history, if dyed by the moonlight, it becomes a myth." This phrase is a quote from the modern Korean novelist Lee Byung Joo. Below the phrase, the Chinese characters for "humane politics" (Inuijeongchi) were written. "Humane politics," as described by Mencius in the Analects, refers to the concept of governing the people through morality rather than violence.

CEO Jeong also suggested creating a more favorable environment for investment. He reportedly mentioned the need to provide tax benefits for gifts, inheritance, or investment. Chief Lee stated, "President Lee also agreed in principle on the need to improve the investment environment."

There was also discussion regarding military issues. CEO Cho suggested transforming the military into an institution of learning, likening the "dae" in "military" (gundae) to the "dae" in "university" (daehak), and proposed making the military a place of education. CEO Jeong also proposed training military recruits to become experts in advanced technology. President Lee expressed his agreement and responded, "We will develop our military into a smart and strong force," according to Chief Lee.
