Full-scale Innovation of Next-Generation Transportation Management Through AI Integration
Thinkware announced on July 11 that its mobility map platform development subsidiary, Ainavi Systems, has signed a strategic joint business agreement with AI specialist company Omelet for the development of an AI-based next-generation logistics platform.
This agreement aims for the two companies to jointly plan and develop a next-generation transportation management system and to introduce an integrated logistics platform utilizing AI technology. To this end, Ainavi Systems will provide Omelet with its proprietary special-purpose route search technology, the RDM (large-scale route distance calculation) API, as well as map data, supporting development and service operations. Omelet plans to combine the supplied data with its own AI routing engine and data analytics tools to jointly develop a next-generation transportation management solution that enables customers to perform delivery and dispatch tasks using natural language.

The core technology of Ainavi Systems, RDM, is a logistics-specialized route search technology that calculates distances and travel times between multiple delivery points at once, reflecting road and vehicle conditions as well as real-time traffic information. It is capable of calculating distances and travel times between up to 500 delivery points in under five minutes. Compared to conventional methods, it offers processing speeds dozens of times faster, significantly reducing transportation planning time, and is optimized for large-scale dispatching and real-time logistics response.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to pursue various cooperation models and proactively respond to the digital transformation of the future logistics IT market and intelligent delivery and dispatch operations. A representative from Ainavi Systems said, "This agreement will serve as a catalyst to accelerate innovation in the domestic logistics and transportation sector by combining Ainavi Systems' high-precision map platform and special-purpose route search RDM technology with Omelet's AI routing and analytics capabilities," adding, "Through close cooperation between the two companies, we will rapidly supply next-generation intelligent transportation management solutions to the market."
