Good People, an international relief and development NGO (President Kim Cheonsu), announced on the 11th that it will support pest control and sterilization services for social welfare facilities in Daegu and Gyeongbuk in partnership with CESCO, a comprehensive environmental hygiene company (Chairman and CEO Jeon Chanheok).

This project, with a total budget of 200 million KRW, will provide customized hygiene management services to approximately 70 social welfare facilities in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions through July 2025.

Facilities struggling with pest infestations will receive professional pest control services for one year. Facilities with minimal pest issues but severe mold damage due to poor ventilation will be provided with air sterilizers to help protect against viruses such as influenza and pneumonia.

Good People and CESCO have been collaborating as social contribution partners since 2024 to support marginalized groups in the local community. Last year, they provided pest control and sterilization services to 10 visually impaired households from vulnerable groups who were suffering from pest problems.

A CESCO representative stated, "CESCO aims to create a cleaner and safer daily life together with Good People," adding, "Through this agreement, we will strive to contribute to building a better society by providing hygiene management services to welfare facilities and vulnerable groups."

Kim Cheonsu, President of Good People, said, "Good People and CESCO have prepared this project together so that marginalized groups using social welfare facilities can stay healthy," and added, "We ask for your interest and support for this initiative to protect our neighbors from pests and germs."
