Second Store in Greater Seoul Area Outside of Seoul
First Location in Western Gyeonggi Region
Lotte Department Store announced on July 11 that it will open the first "London Bagel Museum" in the western Gyeonggi region on the basement first floor of its Incheon branch on July 12. This will be the seventh London Bagel Museum location in Korea and the second in the greater Seoul metropolitan area outside of Seoul itself.

London Bagel Museum, which opened its first location in Anguk in September 2021, is often credited as the origin of the "bagel craze." All of its branches consistently rank within the top 10 for waiting list popularity on the reservation app Catch Table, reflecting its widespread popularity.
Previously, in August 2023, Lotte Department Store became the first retailer to introduce London Bagel Museum on the first floor of Jamsil Lotte World Mall. Since opening, the London Bagel Museum has established itself as a must-visit destination for "bread pilgrimages" (a combination of "bread" and "pilgrimage"), attracting over 150,000 visitors per month on average.
The new Incheon branch, spanning approximately 180 square meters (55 pyeong), will offer all of London Bagel Museum's signature menu items. Notable products include the "Potato Cheese Bagel," "Scallion Pretzel Bagel," and "Brick Lane Sandwich." In addition, around 10 types of beverages and about 20 merchandise items such as eco-bags and mugs will also be available for purchase.
Meanwhile, Lotte Department Store Incheon branch has continued to enhance its competitiveness through ongoing renovations, including the opening of a premium food hall in 2023, a premium beauty section last year, and a kids' specialty section in April last year. In 2024, the number of new customers at the Incheon branch increased by about 20 percent, and sales from customers outside Incheon, including Bucheon and Siheung, also rose by about 10 percent, further solidifying its status as a regional retail hub.
Choi Hyungmo, Head of Food Division at Lotte Department Store, stated, "Since news of the Incheon branch opening was announced, we have received significant attention and interest from customers via social media and online communities," adding, "We will continue to introduce new content that offers customers experiences they have not had before."
