Younghee Bae, President of Korea Plastic: "True Mutual Growth Is When Companies Consider the Local Community Together"

'One Thousand Won Morning Meal' Campaign
Jointly Hosted by Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Daegu Nonghyup

The Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairperson Yoonkyung Park), in collaboration with Daegu Nonghyup (Director Kyungsoo Jeon), held the "One Thousand Won Morning Meal Campaign" at the headquarters of Korea Plastic Co., Ltd. in Habin-myeon, Dalseong-gun at 7 a.m. on July 10, 2025.

This campaign was organized to encourage rice consumption and improve worker welfare by providing a warm meal to employees who may skip breakfast due to their busy morning commutes, thereby supporting a healthy start to the day.

Sangkil Lee, Executive Vice President of Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (4th from the right), and Younghee Bae, President of Korea Plastic, among others, are carrying out the "One Thousand Won Morning and Night" campaign.

The event was attended by Sangkil Lee, Executive Vice President of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kyungsoo Jeon, Director of Daegu Nonghyup, and other officials from Nonghyup, as well as Younghee Bae, President of Korea Plastic Co., Ltd., and company executives and staff.

Sangkil Lee, Executive Vice President of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to the local workers who head to their workplaces diligently even in the early hours of the day," and added, "I hope that the One Thousand Won Morning Meal Campaign will not remain a one-time event, but will serve as an opportunity to spread the values of health and mutual growth throughout the local community."

Younghee Bae, President of Korea Plastic Co., Ltd., remarked, "True mutual growth is when companies consider the health and happiness of the local community together," and continued, "I am pleased that this campaign allows us to deliver a small but meaningful warmth to our employees."

Meanwhile, the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to continue expanding the "One Thousand Won Morning Meal Campaign" to various industrial sites in the region, in cooperation with Daegu Nonghyup, for the benefit of local companies.
