Task Force Formed Led by Deputy County Governor Cho Kwanghee
All Administrative Resources Mobilized to Revitalize the Local Economy
In order to swiftly implement follow-up measures for the “Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon” policy, which was promoted by the Lee Jaemyung administration to revitalize the domestic economy, Hongseong County in South Chungcheong Province has formed a task force led by the deputy county governor and will mobilize all available administrative resources. The goal is to ensure smooth execution and stimulate the local economy.
According to the county on July 10, residents can receive up to 530,000 won in support (including the second round of payments), depending on their income and place of residence. Applications will be accepted from July 21 to September 21. Residents can apply online (through credit card companies or local currency apps) or offline (at bank branches, for prepaid cards, or at township and town administrative welfare centers). For minors, the head of the household may apply on their behalf. The coupons can be used until November 30, 2025, and any unused balance will automatically expire after that date.
Notably, since Hongseong County is classified as a non-metropolitan area, an additional 30,000 won will be provided. The amounts are as follows: 180,000 won for general residents; 330,000 won for single-parent families in the second-lowest income bracket; and 430,000 won for recipients of basic livelihood security benefits.
A county official stated, “We will operate the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon support task force in a systematic manner and concentrate all administrative resources to ensure that every resident can apply for and receive the coupons and benefits without inconvenience.”
