Jeonnam Hampyeong County announced on July 10 that it will launch the "Vision Project 2.0" as it enters the fourth year of its 8th local government administration. This initiative aims to review past achievements and further refine existing projects.


On the morning of the same day, a regular meeting commemorating the 3rd anniversary of the 8th administration was held at the Expo Park Theme Video Hall, led by County Governor Lee Sangik.More than 200 public officials, including senior county office officials, attended the event. During the meeting, participants watched a video highlighting the achievements of the 8th administration over the past three years and its future vision, sharing ideas on the county's future development direction.


Under the county administration goal of "A New Leap Forward, Hopeful Hampyeong," the 8th administration of Hampyeong County has achieved results in various fields, including the creation of the Bitgreen National Industrial Complex, establishment of the nation's first low-methane forage distribution center, launch of the Hampyeongcheonji Distribution Cluster, revitalization of all-season tourism, and projects such as the Jungang-gil improvement project and the construction of the Eoullim Center, which span across economic, cultural, tourism, and development sectors.


In 2023, Hampyeong County, in cooperation with Jeonnam Province, announced the "Hampyeong Future Regional Development Vision Project," which consists of 17 detailed projects with a total investment of 1.8 trillion won. This project is being implemented without delay and is laying the foundation for an advanced city that will lead Hampyeong's next 100 years.


In the second half of the year, marking the start of the fourth year of the 8th administration, the county plans to announce Vision Project 2.0. This initiative will not only further refine existing projects, but will also include new projects such as the RE100 National Industrial Complex and the creation of a future convergence advanced city.


County Governor Lee Sangik stated, "The achievements so far have only been possible thanks to the unwavering interest and support of our residents and the dedication of all public officials," adding, "We will continue to work tirelessly and thoughtfully for the better development of Hampyeong."
