According to a report by Woman Sense, Kim Soohyun sold a unit at Galleria Foret (exclusive area: 170.98 square meters, total area: 232.59 square meters) in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, for 8 billion won on July 3, 2025. He had originally purchased the property for 3.02 billion won in October 2014. The profit from the sale after 11 years amounts to 4.98 billion won.

Initially, Kim Soohyun owned a total of three units at Galleria Foret, and this sale involved one of those units. Woman Sense reported, "There had been no prior information that Kim Soohyun had listed the Galleria Foret property for sale," and added, "It appears highly likely that he sold it quickly to raise emergency funds."

Kim Soohyun signed the sales contract with the buyer on June 27, 2025. This occurred immediately after he became involved in a damages lawsuit filed by an advertiser and after provisional seizure orders were issued on his other two Galleria Foret units. Kim Soohyun became embroiled in a privacy controversy in March 2025 due to allegations that he had dated the late actress Kim Saeron, who was a minor at the time. As a result, he reportedly faced damages lawsuits from some advertisers totaling approximately 7.3 billion won.

Classys, a medical device company that had hired Kim Soohyun as a commercial model, placed a provisional seizure of 3 billion won on one of his Galleria Foret units. In addition, Cuckoo International Berhad, the Malaysian subsidiary of home appliance company Cuckoo, applied for a provisional seizure of 100 million won on this apartment on June 18, 2025.
