Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters has supported vulnerable households in Gijang-gun to help them get through the summer.
On July 8, as part of the 'Hope Wind Happiness Delivery' program, the headquarters announced that it had provided air circulators to 50 low-income households in Gijang-eup.
This support was carried out after the Gijang-eup Administrative Welfare Center selected households vulnerable to heat waves. Nam Youngkyu, Director of External Cooperation at Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, as well as Kim Myungi and Kwon Myoyeon, co-chairs of the Gijang-eup Community Security Council, attended the delivery ceremony.
Nam Youngkyu stated, "I hope our neighbors can spend a healthier and cooler summer," and added, "We will continue to practice warm sharing together with the local community."
Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters continues to carry out social contribution activities every year to address welfare blind spots and support vulnerable groups in the local community.
