Up to 43.3 Square Meters of Service Area in Gaepo
100% of Members to Enjoy Open Views and Five or More Bays
922 Mid- to Large-Sized Units Allocated
On July 9, the Construction Division of Samsung C&T Corporation proposed customized specialized designs to the members of the Gaepo Woosung 7th Cooperative. The company introduced the largest service area in the Gaepo district, as well as floor plans with five or more bays and private terrace designs.
Samsung C&T will offer all 769 cooperative members floor plans featuring at least five bays, thanks to its innovative specialized layouts. The project consists of 112 units with five bays and 666 units with six bays. A bay refers to a sunlit area based on the front balcony (veranda); as the number of bays increases, the extendable service area also expands.
Samsung C&T explained, "The additional average space of 43.3 square meters (13.1 pyeong) per unit secured through specialized design represents the largest service area in the Gaepo district."
The private terrace design will be applied to 788 units. This premium benefit will be provided to 100% of cooperative members. Residents will be able to enjoy both the tranquility of nature and urban views through terraces attached to various spaces such as the dining area, pocket spaces, and master bedrooms.
Samsung C&T has enhanced open views and the sense of space inside the units by applying a ceiling height of 2.77 meters. For penthouses, a ceiling height of 3.12 meters has been implemented to further increase comfort. In addition, living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas will feature 2.3-meter-high panoramic windows to maximize openness.
Samsung C&T has also designed the residential buildings to minimize interference between buildings by arranging 10 buildings in two rows. The maximum distance between buildings has been expanded to 43 meters to further enhance comfort. The company has secured 777 units with views of the excellent natural surroundings, including Yangjaecheon, Tancheon, and Daemosan. The distance between buildings is more than twice as wide as the original cooperative plan, which was 21 meters. The number of units with open views has increased by 373, from 404 to 777, making it possible to allocate open-view units to all cooperative members.
By applying the highest ceiling height in Gaepo at 2.77 meters, Samsung C&T has further enhanced open views and the sense of space within each unit. In particular, the 3.12-meter ceiling height in penthouses is expected to set a new standard for high-end residential comfort. Additionally, 2.3-meter-high panoramic windows have been installed in living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas to maximize openness.
Reflecting the trend toward larger living spaces, a significant number of mid- to large-sized units have been planned for cooperative members. A total of 922 units, including the popular 84-square-meter type, have been designed as mid- to large-sized units, accounting for 83% of the total 1,112 units. The project will also feature variable spaces with Furniture Walls, allowing for flexible movement. Various options tailored to residents' lifestyles have been proposed, such as hidden kitchens that separate the kitchen and dining areas, and specialized floor plans integrating bedrooms.
Kim Myungseok, Executive Vice President and Head of the Housing Business Division at Samsung C&T, said, "Gaepo Woosung 7th is positioned at the pinnacle of Gaepo's transformation. We plan to maximize residential value by leveraging the locational advantages that blend nature and the city, and by providing the best possible designs for each cooperative member."
