Netlearning is an e-learning company that provides educational and consulting services to schools, businesses, and institutions in a digital environment, including educational videos and content creation tools. The company offers more than 16,000 educational programs and has over 7,300 client companies.

Through this agreement, Netlearning's vast amount of educational content and data will be migrated to the NHN Cloud environment. In addition, the two companies plan to cooperate in various ways, including sharing their technological expertise to enhance existing services.

NHN Cloud will migrate Netlearning's core service, "Multiverse," to the cloud environment. Multiverse is an integrated e-learning platform for education, training, and learning. Previously, Netlearning operated its own IT infrastructure and managed its data through an in-house data center.

With this migration, NHN Cloud will take charge of IT infrastructure operations and data management in the cloud environment, allowing Netlearning to focus on developing high-quality educational content and solutions. Furthermore, the flexible scalability of the IT infrastructure will enable uninterrupted service even during peak user traffic seasons.

Additionally, the companies plan to pursue joint artificial intelligence (AI) projects by combining NHN Group's AI technology with Netlearning's extensive educational data, including initiatives such as learning analytics, automatic content generation, and the development of recommendation systems.

Other areas of collaboration include: linking Netlearning's 1EDTECH international standard open badge system with the "NHN Cloud Technology Certification"; jointly advancing into global markets such as Southeast Asia, Korea, and Japan; and introducing Netlearning's e-learning content to NHN Group companies in Korea and Japan. By combining their respective strengths, the companies aim to create diverse synergies.

This agreement is significant in that NHN Cloud has secured Japan's largest e-learning company as both a client and a partner, thereby strengthening its customer portfolio and further solidifying its position in the Japanese cloud market. Donghoon Kim, CEO of NHN Cloud, stated, "By taking on the role of migrating Netlearning's vast educational content to the cloud, we are contributing to providing users with higher-quality educational content," and added, "We will take the lead in realizing digital transformation and business innovation across all industries in Japan, including education."
