Toss Bank Film Featured by BBC Surpasses 1 Million Views on YouTube


Toss Bank announced on July 9 that the documentary film released through its Common Good campaign has surpassed 1 million views on YouTube. The film, which was made public in May 2025, received an enthusiastic response from viewers in just over two months. Toss Bank drew particular attention as the only Asian company participating in this campaign.


The Common Good campaign is a documentary series centered around the question, "Can businesses change the world?" It features the stories of 18 B Corp companies from around the globe that are realizing social value. Toss Bank's film captures its three-year journey of lowering barriers to financial services through technology and innovation, striving to create a more inclusive environment for all.


One viewer who watched the film commented, "The sense that Toss Bank is always ready for me, without needing anyone's help or having to wait, feels strangely heartwarming," adding, "Watching the film, I realized that what has simply been 'convenient' for me could mean 'possible' for someone else." The viewer continued, "I'm grateful to learn that the idea of lowering the barriers to finance is quietly woven into our daily lives like this."


The film features Toss Bank customers, including visually impaired cellist Kim Bohui (Suwon University) and small business owner Kwon Ohyun (Monsieur Bubu Coffee Stand). In their own voices, they sincerely share how Toss Bank has brought about real changes in their lives. The documentary authentically depicts the process of redefining and innovating the essence of finance from the customer's perspective, highlighting improvements such as the enhancement of Toss Bank's voiceover feature, the restructuring of its non-face-to-face loan system, and the provision of automatic benefits using data scraping technology.


Lee Eunmi, CEO of Toss Bank, stated, "This campaign has once again reminded us that true innovation means creating finance that is oriented toward people," and emphasized, "Toss Bank's finance that changes the world will continue into the future."
