Woowa Brothers Launches Heatstroke Accident Prevention Campaign

Woowa Brothers, the company responsible for Baemin’s logistics services, announced on the 9th that it had conducted the "Summer Rider Heatstroke Accident Prevention Campaign" at the Moving Workers' Shelter in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, the previous day. The campaign aimed to ensure the safe driving of delivery riders and prevent heatstroke accidents during the hot summer season.

The "Rider Safety Awareness UP Program," which Woowa Brothers is implementing this summer to enhance rider safety, is the first government-supported safety program for delivery riders. Recently, the company was selected as an implementing agency for the government's "2025 Accident Prevention Project for Platform Workers." As a result, it plans to carry out two programs: the heatstroke accident prevention campaign in July and a rider safety education program in August.

This heatstroke accident prevention campaign was organized to protect the health and ensure the safe driving of riders who are inevitably exposed to outdoor environments for extended periods during the summer. Woowa Brothers provided practical support for riders’ summer delivery activities by distributing personal cooling seats, seat cooling pads, and helmet cooling pads free of charge. Additionally, the company distributed a handy guidebook on safe delivery practices and the "Woowa Delivery Encyclopedia," which comprehensively covers safe driving information from Baemin Rider School.

A representative from Woowa Brothers stated, "This summer, with the heatwave, it is more important than ever to pay attention to health and safety, so we launched this accident prevention campaign to ensure the safe driving of our riders."
