From Exclusive Brand Models to Ad Videos
All Created with Generative AI
On July 9, IGAWorks announced that it is launching an exclusive AI brand model product through its artificial intelligence (AI) advertising solution 'Pickstype' and will introduce a total of 30 AI models to the advertising market.
The newly unveiled solution is a commercial technology that enables the creation of exclusive brand models and even video production without using real people. The most costly elements of ad production?such as casting, appearance fees, makeup, wardrobe, filming, and location rentals?have been eliminated entirely. IGAWorks explained that it has replaced all these processes with AI, reducing production costs by up to 90% compared to traditional methods.
The AI models in Pickstype are crafted with precision to resemble real people. The generative AI, trained on advertising performance data, realistically replicates facial expressions, skin texture, hairstyles, and lighting responses. Brands can select models based on desired age, gender, ethnicity, and mood, and can even create dedicated personas to develop exclusive models optimized for their brand universe.
The AI models have already been put into practical use. Recently, a health supplement brand used Pickstype to produce a TV commercial featuring only AI models, without any filming. The video was successfully broadcast on television. Although there were no real people or studios involved, IGAWorks stated that the final product was of such high quality that it could be aired on TV without issue.
Currently, IGAWorks has a portfolio of 30 exclusive AI models, including men and women in their 20s and 30s, as well as junior, senior, and various ethnicities. Each model possesses a unique persona and universe, and brands can either select from these or create new exclusive models to operate independently. Han Seungsoo, head of the Pickstype business, said, "Our goal was not simply to increase variety, but to achieve a level of sophistication and consistency that allows for sustained use in actual campaign operations."
IGAWorks plans to supply customized AI models for all industries, including fashion, beauty, commerce, healthcare, and food and beverage. In particular, broad demand is expected in markets that require fast and repetitive content production, such as live commerce and short-form advertising. The company also plans to expand its business scope to entertainment content production, including story-driven short-form dramas, by collaborating with webtoon and web novel-based content companies.
Mark Kookseong, CEO of IGAWorks, said, "While creating content with AI has become familiar, the era of creating and operating even the face of a brand with AI over the long term is just beginning. This change is not just about automation; it represents a fundamental shift in the advertising industry structure toward an AI-centric model."
