Namyangju City Hosts 'Live Talk' with High School Parent Association Presidents
A forum to share parents' voices and discuss educational issues with Mayor Joo Gwangdeok

Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) held a 'Live Talk with High School Parent Association Presidents' on the 8th at the Human Book Library on the first floor of the Jeong Yakyong Library.

This event brought together the parent association presidents from 21 high schools in the city, providing a forum to share the voices of parents and discuss current educational issues facing local high schools with Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, as well as to explore directions for support.


During the event, the parent association presidents exchanged opinions on a range of issues in a relaxed atmosphere, including educational conditions at each school, career and college entrance support, and improvements to educational facilities.


The parents shared vivid stories about local high school education based on their own experiences, and Mayor Joo pledged the city's interest and commitment at the municipal level.


Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "Parents are invaluable partners who understand the educational field best," adding, "I will continue to listen carefully to the voices from the field and maintain a strong city administration that works together with parents to address the challenges of educating our children."
