Lotte Chairman Shin Dongbin to Hold Two-Day Presidents' Meeting in Osan on July 16 to Discuss Strategy

Unusual Two-Day, One-Night Schedule... Around 80 Participants Expected

Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dongbin announced on July 8 that he will hold the '2025 Second Half VCM (Value Creation Meeting, formerly known as the Presidents' Meeting)' at the Lotte Human Resources Development Center in Osan, Gyeonggi Province, on July 16-17.

The Lotte Group Presidents' Meeting, which is held twice a year in the first and second halves, has traditionally taken place in the afternoon at venues such as Lotte Hotel World in Jamsil. It is unusual for the meeting to be conducted over two days and one night.

This meeting is expected to be attended by approximately 80 participants, including Chairman Shin, the CEO of Lotte Holdings, heads of business divisions, and CEOs of affiliates. The VCM will likely include a review of business performance for the first half of the year and the sharing of management policies for the second half.

The expansion to a two-day, one-night schedule is interpreted as being due to the increase in external management uncertainties, which has led to a greater number of issues to discuss. Previously, at the first half VCM held in January, Chairman Shin emphasized, "Keep in mind that this is the last opportunity for change, and we must turn this crisis into a chance for major innovation." He also stressed the importance of overcoming challenges by efficiently utilizing the group's assets through selection and concentration.
