Customized AI Creative Convergence Program
ChatGPT, Video Editing, and Preparation for the High School Credit System
The Gyeongnam Institute for Educational Development (Director Kim Seungo) and the Korea Human Resources Lifelong Education Promotion Institute (Director Park Hyejin) are co-hosting a special summer vacation program on 'AI Creative Convergence Education,' with Eflip Co., Ltd. (CEO Hong Sooncheol) serving as the organizer.
This program is designed as a customized curriculum for elementary, middle, and high school students during the summer vacation period.
This program actively utilizes generative artificial intelligence (AI) and is designed to help students at each grade level develop both creative thinking skills and digital competencies.
In particular, it is noteworthy that the program offers specialized curricula tailored to the developmental stages from elementary to high school students, laying the foundation for them to grow into core talents for the future society.
The elementary school program is an imaginative story creation camp called 'Imagination Journey with AI.' Under the theme 'I am the main character in my story!', the elementary course offers creative convergence content where students experience everything from the basics of storytelling to completing a fairy tale and creating AI characters, all with ChatGPT.
By carrying out the entire process themselves?from planning the story framework to the final presentation?students can not only enhance their creativity but also improve their writing and digital skills.
The middle school program is the 'AI Creator Challenge,' focusing on one-person creator practice and digital literacy. Under the slogan 'Show your content to the world!', it includes all aspects of one-person media production, from video planning to short-form filming and editing.
This program, which enhances both content planning and technical skills, is structured as part of digital literacy education, allowing students to develop media sensitivity and self-expression abilities through practical experience.
The high school program prepares students for the high school credit system, which will be fully implemented in 2025, by supporting subject selection and study planning based on each student's learning goals and career path using AI tools.
This program is characterized by providing practical opportunities for students about to enter higher education to design their career paths and establish learning roadmaps.
This special summer vacation program focuses on encouraging students to exercise creativity and problem-solving skills by using generative AI as a tool.
Kim Seungo, Director of the Gyeongnam Institute for Educational Development, stated, "I hope that through this program, students will develop creative thinking and future competencies through new learning experiences with AI," adding, "We will continue to develop and operate various educational programs that keep pace with the changing times."
