KG Mobility launched the Actyon Hybrid, a sport utility vehicle (SUV) equipped with a dual-tech hybrid system, on July 8.
KGM introduced the Actyon Hybrid as an urban SUV concept, offering driving performance and fuel efficiency closest to that of an electric vehicle among domestic hybrid models. The model features advanced safety and convenience features, which are highly preferred by customers, as standard equipment. It is offered as a single trim in the 36 million won range, enhancing its price competitiveness.
The Actyon Hybrid adopts a parallel hybrid system, marketed as an "electric vehicle that does not require charging." With a dual-motor system that enables both electric drive and battery charging simultaneously, drivers can experience a driving feel similar to that of an electric vehicle. The hybrid-exclusive dual-motor transmission, "e-DHT," allows for up to 94% electric mode driving in urban conditions.
Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the largest high-voltage battery among domestic hybrid models at 1.83 kWh, ensuring stable power supply during driving and maximizing system efficiency. A high-capacity 130 kW-class motor delivers dynamic driving performance close to that of an electric vehicle. The low-voltage battery uses a BMS-integrated LFP battery, designed for virtually permanent use. Fuel efficiency has also been improved, with a combined fuel economy of 15.0 km/L and an urban fuel economy of 15.6 km/L, both measured with 20-inch wheels.
The Actyon Hybrid is available as a single trim (S8) with standard safety and convenience features. The retail price is 36,950,000 won.
A KG Mobility representative emphasized, "By limiting the price increase to about 2.7 million won compared to the gasoline model, we have reduced the financial burden, while significantly expanding standard features preferred by customers to ensure both high product value and a reasonable configuration."
