Samil PwC to Hold Webinar on "Strategies for Responding to the Revised Commercial Act"

Samil PwC Governance Center announced on July 8 that it will hold a webinar on July 11 at 2 p.m., under the theme "The Revised Commercial Act and Board Response."

The recently passed amendment to the Commercial Act, which was agreed upon by both ruling and opposition parties, is expected to have a broad impact on corporate governance practices and the capital market. This webinar has been organized to enhance companies’ understanding of the revised law and to explore effective response strategies.

In the first session, Samil PwC partner Hong Ji-yoon will provide an in-depth interpretation and key insights on the major revisions under the topic "The Revised Commercial Act: Content and Significance."

In the second session, Samil PwC partner Heo Je-heon will present key issues that companies should pay attention to and suggest response strategies under the theme "Corporate Response Strategies."
