Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator are accepting applications for participants in the 'Startup Academy Online Marketing Competency Enhancement Program' until July 24.
This program is designed to enhance the practical online marketing skills of a total of 200 participants, including aspiring entrepreneurs, employees of startups, and undergraduate and graduate students in the province. It also aims to help lay the foundation for entry into global markets.
The training consists of four courses: ▲Global E-commerce Marketing Strategy (Basic and Advanced) ▲No-code Based Online Service Development and Marketing Basics ▲Introduction to Domestic Online E-commerce Operations, among others.
The basic course on global e-commerce product sales and marketing strategies will run from July 28 to 31, and the advanced course will be held from August 4 to 7.
The online service development course utilizing the no-code tool Bubble will take place from August 11 to 14, while the introductory course on domestic online e-commerce operations will be held from August 18 to 21.
Each course consists of 16 hours over four days and will be conducted in real time via the online platform Zoom. Approximately 50 participants will be selected for each course, and all courses are provided free of charge.
The training is focused on practical application. The domestic course covers essential skills for online sales, including setting up a Naver Smart Store, product sourcing, copywriting, and SNS marketing. The global course offers in-depth training on entering major overseas platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Shopee, as well as on shipping and customs clearance procedures.
In addition, experienced entrepreneurs who have excelled in online marketing and commerce will participate as instructors to share their practical know-how. Graduates of the program will also be offered one-on-one mentoring opportunities with experts.
Lim Jongbin, head of the Startup Division at Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator, stated, "Online marketing competency is a core skill that determines the early growth of startups," adding, "Through this program, we hope that entrepreneurs in the province will acquire practical skills and take a step forward in both domestic and international markets."
