On the morning of July 7, a 'Commitment Ceremony for Participating in the Local Gift Certificate Campaign to Save Small Business Owners' was held in the conference room on the third floor of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Approximately 20 people attended the ceremony, including Choi Jaeho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Jang Geumyong, Acting Mayor of Changwon Special City; Son Hankook, Head of the Gyeongnam Regional Office of SMEs and Startups; Shin Sangyul, Chairman of the Changwon Small Business Association; Kim Taehan, President of BNK Gyeongnam Bank; Lee Gilno, Executive Director of LG Electronics; Kang Gicheol, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea; and other related officials.

This ceremony was held as a follow-up to the 'Save Small Business Owners Campaign' agreement signed in March. Thirty-four member companies, including the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BNK Gyeongnam Bank, LG Electronics, and Muhak Co., Ltd., purchased local gift certificates worth 1.05 billion won. This initiative was made possible by the voluntary participation of companies to support small business owners who are struggling due to the economic downturn and rising prices, as well as to stimulate consumption.

Choi Jaeho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated, "Companies and entrepreneurs have always stood with the local community during difficult times. The purchase of local gift certificates this time is not just about consumption; it is a symbolic demonstration of companies' commitment to coexist with the community. We will strive to expand this win-win model between companies and the local community throughout Changwon."

Meanwhile, LG Electronics delivered 50 million won worth of local gift certificates purchased through this campaign to the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea. The donated gift certificates will be used to support vulnerable groups in Changwon.
