K-Drama Content Experience 'Love Chapter' Exhibition Opens at Cheongwadae Sarangchae

Exhibition Runs Until November 30

On July 5, at the Media Art Room of Cheongwadae Sarangchae in Jongno-gu, Seoul, the large screen covering the wall lit up, signaling the beginning of an immersive 3D media art experience. A chorus of "Wow!" erupted from the audience. The group consisted of about 30 influencers from the Asia-Pacific region who had come to Korea out of their love for K-dramas. Invited by TikTok Korea, they visited Korea and attended the opening ceremony of the K-drama exhibition hall at Cheongwadae Sarangchae that day.

Through the media art, the influencers witnessed vivid recreations of actual K-drama filming locations, such as Uljoo Nasa Beach from "See You in My 19th Life" and the Maekmundong Pine Forest in Sangju from "Castaway Diva." They repeatedly expressed their amazement and filmed the scenes on their devices. Many took selfies with the large-scale media art as their backdrop.

In the 3D Media Art Room, visitors can enjoy both K-drama filming locations and original soundtracks (OSTs). In the Travel Library area, highlights from dramas such as "Once Upon a Small Town" and "Crash Landing on You" are displayed through glass prism pillars.

The exhibition is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Tuesdays, and admission is free without reservation. It also operates as usual on public holidays.

Kim Namcheon, Director of Tourism Content at the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, "Since about 38% of foreign tourists visit Korea because of Hallyu content, we hope that this K-drama exhibition space will make their memories of Korea even more special and give them a reason to return."
