Travelog plans to launch the "Walk and Earn Money" service with a world travel concept later this month. The company also plans to introduce new advertising categories and diversify its menu offerings. Hana Card has established a real-time response system to meet customer demands and has increased the range of benefits. By evolving into a platform where users can not only view and enjoy content but also experience and utilize benefits, the company aims to solidify the Travelog fandom.

With this launch, customers can accumulate Hana Money domestically and receive free currency exchange (100% preferential exchange rate) when traveling abroad. The service can also generate synergy effects when combined with savings, cards, insurance, and events provided by Hana Financial Group.

Since the launch of Travelog on July 18, 2022, the amount of money customers have saved by utilizing the three major overseas travel fee benefits exceeded 250 billion KRW as of June 26. This includes 149.1 billion KRW in free currency exchange, 67.3 billion KRW in waived overseas transaction fees, and 36.8 billion KRW in waived overseas ATM withdrawal fees.

Hana Card expects strong customer response to this service, especially as interest in "app-tech" is growing due to the recent economic downturn.

According to "Mobile Index," a key application activity metric, Travelog's monthly active users (MAU) reached 3.14 million, with the average usage time per user exceeding 60 minutes. This ranks among the top tier of membership-based app services. The data shows that Travelog users visit frequently, stay longer, and engage more with the app.

Hana Card CEO Sung Youngsoo said, "With the partnership between Google and Travelog, the number one overseas travel service, we expect to deliver the highest value and experience, from benefits through diverse content to moving beyond enjoyment to inspiration. We will continue to strengthen the Travelog brand as Korea's leading overseas travel service through even closer collaboration in the future."

Travelog is Hana Financial Group's flagship overseas travel service, available through the Hana Money app, offering free currency exchange for 58 currencies and fee-free usage anywhere in the world.

Launched on July 18, 2022, Travelog has held the number one market share in the overseas debit card market for 29 consecutive months since January 2023. The service has surpassed 8 million subscribers and 4 trillion KRW in currency exchange volume. With 24/7 digital currency exchange, it is leading the way in cashless travel.
