Reported 1.3 Billion Won in Deposits and 64 Million Won in Bonds
Jointly Owned Apartment Valued at Over 1.2 Billion Won
Jung Eunkyung, the nominee for Minister of Health and Welfare, reported total assets of 5,617,790,000 won.
According to the confirmation hearing request submitted to the National Assembly on July 4, Jung reported an apartment in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, jointly owned with her spouse (valued at 1,262,000,000 won), deposits in her own name totaling 1,356,540,000 won, and private bonds worth 64,000,000 won.
Her spouse reported two plots of farmland in Bongpyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do: one measuring 2,701 square meters (817 pyeong) and valued at 73,200,000 won, and another measuring 2,786 square meters (843 pyeong) and valued at 96,670,000 won.

Her spouse also reported deposits totaling 1,361,940,000 won and stocks valued at 521,170,000 won. This includes 5,000 shares of Changhae Ethanol, a company that produces raw materials for hand sanitizer (ethanol).
Her spouse additionally reported 400 shares of Samsung Electronics, 4,790 shares of LG Uplus, 500 shares of LG Display, 5,700 shares of Shinhan Financial Group, 1,013,333 shares of Openpop.com (an unlisted company), private bonds worth 200,000,000 won, and a 2007 Sonata vehicle valued at 1,970,000 won.
Jung's eldest son reported ownership of a 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid vehicle (valued at 43,440,000 won), deposits totaling 327,440,000 won, and stocks valued at 62,510,000 won. Her younger son reported deposits of 184,430,000 won and stocks valued at 62,490,000 won.
Both her eldest and younger sons enlisted and completed their service as privates in the Army.
