Remarks at Jeonju University Talk Concert
"President Lee likely gave deep thought to appointments"
Park Chandae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea running for party leader, stated, "Prosecution reform will definitely be completed by September."
At a talk concert held at Jeonju University on the 5th, Park said, "I believe the crisis in our country began with the prosecution, and it will end with prosecution reform."
He emphasized, "It is not easy to fight against political prosecutors who have held power for the past 70 or 80 years," and added, "During the Yoon Suk Yeol administration, our National Assembly drew its sword for the impeachment of prosecutors to hold those with unchecked prosecutorial powers accountable for their crimes."

Park also addressed recent criticism from Park Eunjung, a member of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, who said that all of the 'Big 3' senior prosecutors appointed by the Lee Jaemyung administration were 'pro-Yoon prosecutors.'
He said, "President Lee Jaemyung is someone who has faced the most oppression, and I do not believe he would have made appointments that would hinder prosecution reform. On the contrary, I think he made those appointments after deep consideration."
He continued, "Please give it a little more time and watch what results and achievements are made," and predicted, "Since the framework for prosecution reform has been completed, I expect that institutional legislation will be finalized by at least August, or by September at the latest."
