Various Job Opportunities Offered, Including Park Maintenance and Urban Garden Projects
The city of Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, will recruit 94 participants for its second-half "public job program" to support the livelihood stability of vulnerable job seekers. Applications will be accepted from July 14 to July 18.
This program will operate for approximately three months, from September 1 to November 28. The recruitment includes 50 people for the Siheung-type public job program and 44 people for the local community job program.
The "Siheung-type public job program" focuses on environmental maintenance of parks and green spaces. The "local community job program" provides jobs utilizing local resources, such as the Baegot and Wolgot urban garden projects and management of the Lotus Theme Park.
Participants in the Siheung-type public job program will work four hours per day, while those in the local community job program will work six hours per day (four hours for those aged 65 or older). The hourly wage is 10,030 won. Weekly holiday allowances, annual leave allowances, and the four major social insurances are also provided.
Applicants must be residents of Siheung who are 18 years of age or older and are either unemployed or have no regular income. Interested individuals should check the notices and announcements on the Siheung City Hall website and visit their local administrative welfare center with the required documents to apply in person.
Park Geonho, head of the Siheung City Job Management Division, said, "We will continue to enhance the quality of life for citizens by providing a variety of customized job opportunities."
