Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency to Hold 'AI Special Lectures' in Nine Cities and Counties Until November

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will hold a total of 1,100 residents-focused 'Artificial Intelligence (AI) City and County Special Lectures' in nine cities and counties across the province until November.


This special lecture series, themed 'AI in Everyday Life, Together with Gyeonggi-do!', is a public participation educational program designed to increase residents' understanding and interest in AI, and to help them become more familiar with AI technology.


This year's special lectures will be held a total of nine times. For each city and county, both offline lectures at major public facilities and real-time online live broadcasts will be provided.

Kim Hyungon, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, said, "This city and county special lecture series is a public-oriented AI education program designed to provide residents of various ages and regions with opportunities to become familiar with AI and use it directly." He added, "We will continue to expand these efforts to strengthen the foundation for human-centered digital transformation and to enhance residents' technological acceptance and response capabilities."


Meanwhile, the first special lecture of the year will take place on the 18th at the Dongducheon Lifelong Learning Center. In the first session, Choi Jaeyong, President of the Digital Convergence Education Center, will introduce the concept of generative AI, prompt engineering, and practical utilization strategies under the theme 'Latest Trends in Generative AI and Utilizing AI Agents 300 Times More.' In the second session, instructor Kim Eunjeong will conduct a hands-on workshop titled 'Quick and Easy! Gemini Practice,' focusing on strengthening residents' practical skills.
