Raonsecure is set to enhance the AI talent certification system by leveraging blockchain-based digital ID technology.

IT security and authentication platform company Raonsecure (co-CEOs Lee Soonhyung and Lee Jeonga) announced on July 4 that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for "Digital Identity and Credential Verification for AI Talent Certification" with the Korea Artificial Intelligence Association (President Kim Hyuncheol) and the Korea Digital Certification Association (President Lee Gihyuk). The signing ceremony took place at Raonsecure's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.

Recently, as the government pursues an investment of approximately 100 trillion won with the goal of becoming one of the world's top three AI powerhouses, the AI industry has been experiencing rapid growth. Consequently, there is an increasing need for an AI talent certification system that can objectively verify expertise and reliability.

This tripartite agreement aims to respond to these trends by sharing a vision for nurturing talent to lead the AI era. The parties plan to jointly establish a high-trust qualification certification and talent management system using blockchain digital ID technology.

Under the agreement, Raonsecure will support the issuance, management, and verification of AI talent qualifications based on "OmniOne Digital ID" and "OmniOne Badge." The Korea Artificial Intelligence Association will introduce "OmniOne Digital ID" and "OmniOne Badge" into its talent matching center business, while the Korea Digital Certification Association will support the expansion of a global AI talent certification ecosystem based on Open DID technology.

This collaboration is expected to provide a foundation for fair and transparent evaluation of skilled professionals, thereby offering more balanced opportunities in various fields such as education, recruitment, and career transitions. In particular, a highly reliable certification system will enable individuals to accurately prove their capabilities, and allow institutions and companies to more efficiently identify the talent they need, which is anticipated to have a positive impact on industry and society as a whole.

In addition, the three organizations plan to establish a global-level AI talent certification infrastructure that can be utilized by domestic and international universities, industries, and international organizations, and to present a model for a digitally interoperable identity certification system.

Kim Taejin, CTO of Raonsecure, stated, "A reliable certification and verification system is essential to secure outstanding talent and enhance the competitiveness of the AI industry," adding, "Raonsecure will actively contribute to building a global AI talent certification ecosystem based on blockchain-based digital ID technology."
