In a post on Facebook that day, President Lee expressed, "I am truly proud at the thought that the Black Panther, embodying Korea's technology and pride, will powerfully traverse the green fields of Poland."

President Lee went on to say, "I send my applause to the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and all those at Hyundai Rotem who have rewritten the great history of K-Defense. The world is paying attention to the production capacity, high quality, and price competitiveness of Korea's defense industry, which has been strengthened by turning geopolitical crises into opportunities. This has once again been proven through the record-breaking export deal with Poland," he emphasized.

Additionally, President Lee stated, "It is now the nation's turn to give wings to the achievements of K-Defense made possible by those working in the defense industry. I will not forget to actively expand our defense industry partners through 'pragmatic diplomacy centered on the national interest,' as well as make large-scale investments in nurturing talent and research and development."

He added, "As a new growth engine and a driving force for increasing national wealth, I will strive to ensure that the future of a 'strong K-Defense nation' is firmly established."

Meanwhile, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration completed negotiations for the second contract for K2 tanks in Poland the previous day. The industry estimates the scale of the deal at approximately 8.8 trillion won.
