The National Planning Committee, which is responsible for outlining the policy framework of the Lee Jaemyung administration, announced that it has completed actions on three fast-track tasks: emergency welfare support for low-income households, a ban on the distribution of leaflets to North Korea, and the relocation of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

Jo Seungrae, spokesperson for the National Planning Committee, stated in a written briefing on July 3 that a total of 54 fast-track tasks have been submitted so far. He explained that the committee is currently determining whether additional review is needed for certain tasks and whether some should be formalized as national policy tasks.

The government organization restructuring task force (TF) is continuing its discussions, while the Five-Year National Policy Plan TF has prepared a draft and is set to present it to the steering committee. The National Planning Committee also plans to collect and review funding plans for each subcommittee's national policy tasks in line with this process.

The Economic Subcommittee 1 is coordinating national policy tasks in cooperation with Economic Subcommittee 2. On July 2, the two subcommittees visited sites related to autonomous driving technology and data centers to discuss public-private cooperation measures. Economic Subcommittee 2 also held a roundtable to further develop region-led growth and small and medium-sized enterprise policy tasks.

On July 3, Economic Subcommittee 1 held discussions on the creation of a national fund, while Economic Subcommittee 2 is scheduled to host a roundtable on fostering scientific and technological talent and to hear directly from the venture and startup sector.

The Social Subcommittee 1 held a roundtable on strengthening public healthcare, focusing on securing medical personnel and improving cooperation systems. Social Subcommittee 2 held a roundtable with the National Council of Provincial and Metropolitan Superintendents of Education to discuss ways to enhance the effectiveness of education policy.

The Foreign Affairs and Security Subcommittee hosted a "Future of the Korean Peninsula Roundtable" with participation from experts, activists, and university students from the 2040 generation, gathering a range of suggestions on inter-Korean relations and achieving peace. In the afternoon, a roundtable is scheduled with the National Assembly's National Defense Committee.

On the "Everyone's Square" policy proposal platform operated by the National Sovereignty Committee, approximately 32,000 people visited in a single day, submitting 40,000 policy proposals and civil petitions. Various citizen suggestions were introduced, including establishing support systems for families of missing persons, improving architecture to guarantee mobility rights, and preventing waste of local festival budgets.

Through the on-site submission program "Everyone's Square on Wheels," a total of 76 proposals and petitions were received in Gangneung City.
