According to the county on July 3, the support targets four areas: facility horticulture modernization, smart farm ICT facility supply, energy-saving facilities, and renewable energy facilities. The total project budget is approximately 1.728 billion won, and applications can be submitted at the township or town offices of the planned project sites.

Eligible applicants must have their project sites located in Jangsu County and must have at least three years of experience in cultivation or greenhouse operation. The target groups include farmers, agricultural corporations, and producer organizations that operate automated and fixed cultivation facilities for vegetables, flowers, and special crops (including seedling nurseries).

The "Facility Horticulture Modernization" project supports materials and equipment such as increasing the height of cultivation facilities, irrigation and fertigation systems, and environmental management for the modernization of cultivation facilities. The "Smart Farm ICT Facility Supply" project provides support for the supply of smart farm facilities and consulting, including the establishment of environmental control systems necessary to create optimal growth conditions for crops.

In addition, the "Energy-Saving Facility Support" project supports the installation of energy-saving facilities (such as multi-layer thermal curtains and automatic thermal covers) in facility houses. The "Renewable Energy Facility" project encourages the adoption of eco-friendly energy equipment such as geothermal, ground-source heat, and air-source heat systems to promote carbon neutrality and reduce energy costs.

County Governor Choi Hoonshik stated, "Through this project, we aim to reduce the management burden on farms and establish a stable production and distribution base for high-quality agricultural products," adding, "We will continue our administrative efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and practice carbon neutrality in response to climate change."
