Glassdom Launches Full-Scale Operation of 'Integrated Carbon Management Solution' to Meet Global Regulations

Strengthening Export Manufacturers' Response Capabilities
with a Low-Cost, One-Stop Solution

On July 3, Glassdom, a carbon emissions data management company, announced that it has officially begun developing an 'Integrated Carbon Management Solution' in response to the strengthening of global carbon regulations.

This move comes as a result of the full-scale implementation of a complex set of global regulations starting in the second half of this year, including: ▲EU battery regulations ▲Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) ▲mandatory Digital Product Passport (DPP) with product carbon information ▲strengthened greenhouse gas regulations in Korea ▲and the expansion of requirements for submitting product carbon footprint data from global primary contractors.

Through the development of this new solution, Glassdom plans to introduce an integrated response system that incorporates greenhouse gas calculation functions based on the international standard 'GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Protocol.' The company aims to support export-oriented small and medium-sized manufacturers in proactively responding to the complex regulatory environment.

The new solution is designed to systematically collect and calculate data on direct emissions across the entire manufacturing process, indirect emissions resulting from purchased electricity and heat, and other indirect emissions, including those from the supply chain and logistics.

In particular, by supporting carbon emissions optimization down to the product and process unit level, the solution aims not only to address regulatory compliance but also to help companies secure sustainable competitive advantages. In addition, the company expects that the solution can be integrated with existing product carbon footprint and CBAM response solutions, significantly improving the efficiency of carbon data management for businesses.

Ham Jinki, CEO of Glassdom Korea, said, "Through the provision of this new solution, we will support domestic export manufacturing companies in proactively responding to global carbon regulations and client demands with a low-cost, one-stop service."
