The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is launching a student-driven content learning service through the Gyeonggi Online School (https://online.goe.go.kr).
On July 3, the office announced that it will offer a total of 185 pieces of content through the Gyeonggi Online School, including 9 award-winning works from teacher contests in the province, 19 e-learning courses developed in collaboration with universities and institutions, and 157 pieces produced by educational research associations and teacher creators.
The award-winning content consists of 9 pieces covering topics such as science experiments, learning English through questions, an introduction to animation, ensemble performance using apps, and world history, combining both educational value and student engagement.
The 19 e-learning courses are provided in partnership with organizations such as the Korea Creative Content Agency, Hanyang University, and SK hynix, and cover subjects including games, media, character design, computers (IT), artificial intelligence, and semiconductors.
Additionally, in collaboration with educational research associations and the Teacher Creator Support Group, the office plans to sequentially release 157 learning materials across 17 topics such as culture and arts, K-pop dance, Korean history, certification courses, YouTube creator training, second foreign languages, and webtoons, starting this month.
An official from the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education stated, "Through online demand surveys and the operation of a course application bulletin board, we plan to identify the online courses students need and expand the provision of high-quality services."
