President Lee Jae Myung will meet with the bereaved families of the Sewol ferry disaster, the Itaewon disaster, the Muan passenger plane disaster, and the Osong underpass flooding accident.
The presidential office announced on the 2nd that President Lee is scheduled to meet with these families on the 16th to listen to their opinions.
The 15th marks the second anniversary of the Osong underpass disaster. In this regard, the Osong Disaster Bereaved Families Association, the Osong Disaster Survivors Association, and the Osong Disaster Citizens' Countermeasures Committee sent a handwritten letter by mail on the 30th of last month, requesting President Lee's attendance.
