Securing Brand Experience Infrastructure in the Gyeongnam Region
BYD Korea announced on July 2 that it has opened the Changwon showroom and the Sasang service center in Busan, aiming to expand its consumer touchpoints in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions.
The Changwon showroom, which opened on June 28, is the first BYD showroom in Gyeongnam Province. Located in the heart of Changwon's imported car district, the two-story facility has a total area of 680 square meters and can display up to five vehicles. Currently, the BYD Atto 3, which is on sale, and the BYD Seal, scheduled for release in the second half of the year, are on display.
The Busan Sasang service center has a total area of 850 square meters, featuring five work bays and two paint booths, enabling maintenance for up to 35 vehicles per day, including accident repairs. The center is staffed with specialized personnel and equipped with facilities to provide services tailored to electric and eco-friendly models. It operates as an integrated service center capable of handling all types of repairs, including bodywork, painting, and accident vehicle repairs.
Both Busan and Changwon city centers are accessible within one hour by car, making it possible for local customers to receive faster and more convenient service.
BYD Korea currently operates 17 showrooms and 14 service centers nationwide, with a goal of expanding to 30 showrooms and 25 service centers by the end of the year.
Cho Incheol, head of the passenger vehicle division at BYD Korea, stated, "By expanding our customer touchpoints, we are now able to provide BYD's outstanding products and services to customers in the Gyeongnam region. We will continue to expand our sales and service network in key areas to become a trusted brand for even more customers."
