On July 1, Lee Seonghae, President of the National Railroad Authority, visited and inspected the flood recovery construction site on the Yeongdong-Hwanggan section of the Gyeongbu Line. He personally examined the site to strengthen the proactive disaster management system, including identifying necessary supplementary measures in advance to prepare for the rainy season. President Lee stated, "We have been able to complete the recovery work before the rainy season, alleviating concerns among passengers," and urged, "Please do your utmost to ensure on-site safety management and the safe operation of trains until the very end."
